Abbate Guitars is a project born from the first design of a P.A. Roswell and a P.A. Tesla(Coming soon) by Patrick Abbate. These guitars are designed to mix the old fashion American tradition of soulful guitars with the more modern approach about the comfort, playability and ergonomics. All our guitars are handmade between Italy and the US by Luca Sirtori and Matteo Casotti with the help of Marco Pinto.
These guitars a super versatile and super playable, you can obtain a very wide variety of sounds from blues to funky, from pop to jazz and from rock to metal. Some of the main characteristics of these guitars are the extremely easy access to the last frets of the neck, the feeling is as you are playing a neck without any body attached to it. The unbelievable tone you can get from them, you can space between SRV, The Edge, Gilmour, Malmsteen and Steve Vai just changing the way you play. Every single detail in these guitars has been thought for a specific purpose and the thick neck is surprisingly comfortable helping you to, not only have a better tone, but to also play with a thicker string gauge without feeling it. (Patrick uses 011/050 in standard tuning being able to play some bending up to 2 tones and half whiteout any problems thank to the neck's thickness which releases the strings from some tension and stiffness).

The P.A. Roswell Model's main characteristics are the naked wood (we use just oil), which gives you a better resonance and a more "satin" feeling at the touch and the aliens glow in the dark inlays.

(For example a regular bridge would cost less than a Floyd Rose but a set of Custom Shop Hand-wired pickups would bring the price up.
